SONG CYCLE
A series that explores the place of the voice and the female body in the context of live music. Each piece approaches the format of a song in a different way, combining composition, voice, dance and imagery.
The River was premiered at Hors Lits Barcelona and The River and World Alone were shown together at the opening of the London Latin Arts Exhibition Vermillion, as well as at the Encuentro de Danza Butoh in Zarragoza. Later ‘tracks’ include Return, performed at Sala Fènix’s Cabaret Lecoq and Track #5 which was shown for the first time at the Bleeding Hearts Club – Rialto Theatre, Brighton.
